About

Max Marlow is a British filmmaker, recognised in 2025 as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree. At age 27, he was shortlisted for the 2024 Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film as producer of 'Good Boy', starring BAFTA winner Ben Whishaw (James Bond franchise, Paddington) and SAG awardee Marion Bailey (Netflix's 'The Crown'). Executive produced by Emma Thompson and Gia Coppola, the film was ultimately acquired for wide release by Disney+, following screenings at Santa Barbara, BFI Flare and Sundance London.

Under the banner of A MARLOW’S PRODUCTION, his independent films have garnered millions of views and success at major festivals worldwide. Projects on his 2025 slate are set to star globally recognised talents, including BAFTA winner Miriam Margolyes, Sir Stephen Fry and Caroline Goodall, of Steven Spielberg’s 'Schindler's List' and 'Hook'. To date, he has raised and managed over a quarter-of-a-million pounds in the producing of high-end short films, simultaneously raising awareness for charity partners connected to their subject matters (Let’s Talk About Loss, MindOut, Age UK).

In parallel to his producing career, Max has earned almost a decade of experience as crew on major feature films and high-end TV (‘Star Wars IX', ‘The King's Man', Netflix’s '1899', Blumhouse’s ‘Speak No Evil'), was selected for the BFI x BAFTA Crew programme in 2021, and is a member of the Production Guild of Great Britain.
